Her work has been recognized with the 2021 Winslow Township Teacher of the Year award for her school and the 2022 Bob Thompson Excellence in Energy Education National Award, along with multiple sustainability and education grants. She serves as a consultant to the NJEA Professional Development and Instructional Issues Division and as a Professional Development Facilitator for the National Energy Education Development Project.
